virgin Atlantic Payload

Hello im just wondering if anybody knows the average payload on virgin atlantic routes on the 747-400 and the A340-300/600 series. I know it probably changes daily so im just after an average figure.

Well using standard weights a 100kg a head for 1 pax and a bag so, 300 pax = 30t. Freight is variable, to say the least, normally on the -600 you will run out of capacity before you run out of weight, unless you are coming out of HKG with crappy headwinds.

:ughSaying thats 100kgs is a rule of thumb for one person with their bag?

The amount of freight we carry varies, the A340 has a big cargo hold and that when there is headwind on a long sector you have to put more fuel on.

I'm pretty sure this is all in public domain...........
