Thomas Cook Airbus emergency landing in Rhodes?

Anyone know about this? A friend was pax, took off from Cyprus on 30/9 and landed shortly after with a reported burning smell on board. Replacement aircraft took the pax home....

Can you rename this to say "emergency landing"? Forced landing is what happened on the Hudson river earlier this year...

Was this inbound or outbound ? We departed LCA at about 1100 on 30/9 and noticed an approx 0200 TCX departure to Gatwick was still on the departure board with no further information.
