Dreamliner In The Sky

Yesterday a Dreamliner was doing turns overy Puget Sound. It is a different look.

Hmmm, not sure what you were looking at but it certainly wasn't a Dreamliner. Not scheduled for first flight yet.

Maybe it was Boeing's converted 747 you saw. This has 'Dreamliner' painted on the side in big letters as the aircraft is used to transport fuselage sections for the Dreamliner.

Stand Corrected

Yes it did have Dreamliner written in big letters along the fuselage, but it didn't look like a 747. Maybe it was because of the paint job or I just focused on the big lettters and didn't look closer.
Thanks

DREAMLIFTER, as in carries bits and pieces of the DREAMLINER. A guppy version of the B-747-400.

Dreamlifter

That is almost as ugly as the A380. Not quite, but very close.

Never seen that before.

Sure it's very good for the task in hand but boy that's ugly. I wonder if form follows function when it comes to flying it?

seeing the pic of the 747 Dreamlifter, i wonder why boeing simply didn't put 2 decks of seating in it and sell it as a commercial plane............
