A DC-8 ex Luton? Did my eyes deceive me?

The thread title says it all really, but on Friday afternoon (12/6) at about 1400 Local, I was treated to the almost forgotten sight of a DC-8 departing Luton on a Compton SID.

Anyone in the know re operator etc? Please don't keep it to yourself!

I can't remember the last time I saw a DC8 prior to this - probably one of the stretched variety flown by Air Canada (Series 63 or some such seems to ring a bell).
