Brazilian SAR Aircraft

Hello all

While watching the sad news of the loss of Flight 447 I saw the Brazilian SAR aircraft carrying out their searches.

What type of aircraft are they using. They look like Nimrods but with turboprops.

Cheers

The aeroplane shown was a French Navy Breguet Atlantique.

Thanks lots EGTE for your help.

I have read now that all that wreckage they thought they had found was from ships not the plane.

Hope they find it soon.

Cheers
