Question Work Experience in USA

I am currently in my first year of college (leave in July 2002) studying for my A levels (Maths, Physics, Computing + Business Studies) after which I wish to work abroad (preferably USA) for a year or 6 months.

Does anybody out there have any contacts who may be able to help me?

Regards,
D.M.

Your best bet (if you can't find any contacts) is to apply for an internship. If you're planning to go to University, these should be easier to come by in the second year/ third year gap as part of a sandwich year.
