Saw it depart whilst driving past, not C130 only had two engines and a lot more recent design.

Was it one of these?

It should be noted that the C-27J is currently under evaluation by the Czech Air Force. The twin-engine Spartan or “Baby Herc” has extensive commonality with C-130J Hercules avionics, engines, and structures, and 32 have been ordered by the Air Forces of Italy, Greece and Bulgaria. the aircraft is also is currently under evaluation by the United States for the JCA (Joint Cargo Aircraft) program.

I think you will find that it was a CASA C-295M of the Polish Air Force.

Biggin Herc

Sorry I did not get a good view, so I am unable to say how many props it had.

What I can say is, when it taxied I could hear it from 3 miles away. The wind must have been good for 21 that day.

Believe it was a Polish Casa , think they use them to take their " Naughty Citezens " home , they are quite regular movements

May the Farce be with you
