Post Paris over New Year

Hi,

I'm in Paris over the New Year and wondered if anyone would suggest a good place to go out for a few beers and some fun over this period. It's a great place, but I need help as I don't know it that well.

Thank you in anticipation

Try the Frog and Princess, Rue Princess, metro Mabillon. English pub, student barmaids, 4 types of real ale brewed on the premises. They also have a NY party at FFR500 (£50), circus theme, but a red nose will do.

Tel (0)1 40 51 77 38, Fax (0)1 43 29 12 14
or

And not to leave out the French try Le Sous-Bock Tavern, 49 Rue St Honore. Open 24 hours a day, 400 beers, 200 whiskys, brasserie, bar food etc. Metro Chatelet.

Otherwise get the Time Out Guide to Paris when you arrive. There are good Canadian, Dutch pubs, loads of night clubs, discos etc.

Drop a note when when you hit town.
