flight certification for a Spitfire
Hope I am in the right forum. I am a museum volunteer and editor of a newsletter. I have enthusiam for keeping the memories of these aircraft alive, but unfortunately very little knowledge.
I need some info for the newsletter regarding gaining flight certification for a WWII Spitfire. It is airworthy, I need to know how to be able to legally fly it. How do I apply to CAA, what are the names of the forms I need to fill in, what are the costs involved, what in effect is the entire process, cost and times?
Can anyone help me?

Permit to Fly
Search for CAP632, available for download from the CAA website, it details all you need to know concerning Permits for ex-military aircraft registered in the UK.
Once you have read that, any queries can be answered by contacting the CAA as below:

Thank you QA1, it is a bit of a minefield sorting blindly through everything in the CAA website. A start point was what I was looking for.
