Strange visitors to LHR - Diverts?
Just been looking through lhr-lgw.co.uk and noticed in the 'First Visitors' section that the following flights had come in:
22Feb
AFR374 AF374 FGZCF A332 KDTW 1631 209 27R
AFR374 AF374 FGZCF A332 LFPG 1341 209 27R
27FEB
BER1005 AB1005 DABGQ A319 LEMD 0947 RS1 27L
BER106F AB106F DABGQ A319 EDDS 1134 RS1 27R
03MAR
TOM1KW BY9006P GOOPE A321 EGKK 2237 338 27R
TOM55C BY055C GOOPE A321 GCTS 1927 338 27L
Presumably the AF was a divert, but Air Berlin and Thomson Airways?!!

Good chance the A330 was not a divert and may have been a swap with a 777 on the Washington sector (think its Washington or is it LAX).....Same thinking as you thoe with the others...

... and last year I saw an Air Berlin flight in Heathrow doing a football charter (bought the team and some supporters over, I believe). Was there a big 'european' game that night?

From what I heard the Air France was actually a medical diversion.
Just out of interest, why did the TOM divert to LHR and not somewhere else like Luton? I've never known them to use LHR as a divert before.

The AF 330 was a tech problem on Paris to Dallas flight, F/O ND blanked and the crew decided to divert to LHR instead of crossing the Atlantic with only 1 ND!!!

Is it not £20 per gross ton at Heathrow? Something per tonne, cant remember sorry.
Thomson at Heathrow, thats must have been funny. Imagine sitting there watching all the BA aircraft come in and you see 3 EasyJet A319s landing and then a Ryanair.

Air France long haul on LHR-LAX was dumped in favour of a JFK that has never appeared in the booking engines. So looks like a divert as the routing is Detroit-Paris.....
Its Navigation Display in Airbus Language!!!!
At least Airbus made SOME THINGS simpler to understand!!!
