Pilot Hearing Strictness?

Hi guys,

I recently had an eye exam in Specsavers, where they gave me the all clear for everything. Still, I haven't had a hearing test since I was much younger and I'm a little paranoid that I might have an unknown hearing problem.

My question is, is the CAA as strict about hearing as they are eyesight?

It would have been better to post this question in the Medical forum. However, how do you quantify "strictness"? Basically the answer to your question is "yes". There are places you can go to check your hearing. Check this:
