Airbus Guppy @ John Lennon This Morning

What on earth was the Guppy doing landing at John Lennon this morning? The bloke doing the flat roof on the house opposite nearly fell off when this huge thing appeared overhead with almost no noise! An incredible sight - makes you realise how impressive it is that the A380 gets off the ground...

There must have been something happening (Low vis / contaminated runway etc) at Hawarden. I expect it sat at LPL for a few hours then continued to Hawarden.

Last time I saw it at LPL it was due Xwinds at HAW.

That thing is not a Guppy, I worked on the Guppies and they were much better looking!
