Arkia Airlines

I have some friends due to fly with Arkia Airlines ( LZ )to Tel Aviv. They & I have never heard of them. Anybody know who they are?

They are primarily a domestic Israeli airline. Mostly 737s I think.

Thanks GW. They are flying from EGLL, so it could be that they are flying onto somewhere else in Israel, and the flight code could be shared.

I think they have been going for decades - I'm sure they were early customers of the HP7 Dart Herald

Thanks Buz. Wonder why the flight from the UK is coded with them, as they will probably fly El Al to Israel.
