A380 schedule...??

Evening all,

Just after a little bit of advice.. can anybody tell me what time of day the A380 is at LHR? Also if anybody knows the flight number that would be handy.

Cheers

fabs.... Surprising as it may seem, I have tried that. If you can find the relevant information yourself within the singapore airlines website please feel free to post a link to the appropriate page.

At the moment Singapore Airlines and Emirates with Qantas starting in the new year. As the schedules tend to change as more aircraft are delivered you may need to look up the individual airlines schedules. Sometimes you may have to go part way through booking a flight on the airlines web site to find out the aircraft type.
With them all being long haul you should be able to find out the approximate arrival time from teletext or the BAA web site on the day.

fabs doesn't need to tell you (shirley) that if you start to book a flight from Singapore to London, and vice versa, it'll give you arrival and departure times.

PS. As a complete aside it'll also give you aircraft type.

dontpressthat - in the knowledge that it is only Singapore Airlines flying the A380 into LHR at the moment I browsed its Flight Schedule and gleaned the following:

SQ322 arrives at LHR at 0545

SQ318 arrives at LHR at 1866

and the departures are:

SQ317 at 1055

SQ321 at 2205

I also searched for A380 on the site MikeStanton gave the link to and it came up with links both to the Qantas and the Emirates sites - I didn't look any further but presumably those airlines will also keep their websites updated with information as to the bringing into service of the aircraft.

Hope this helps!!

3 per day until Jan when QF add one - not sure which QF service will have it yet

1st - SQ is in too early, but goes out at around 11am

2nd - EK is in around 1130am, and goes out around 1430 - lovely and quiet - our APU was too noisy to hear it go by....!!

3rd - SQ - in around 1900 I think and back out at 2230

yep.. looks like its 3 a day. If you get to LHR around 11.45 you will see the EK001 land around 12ish and the SQ pushes back at 11.55. The late SQ gets in around 19.30.

Happy new year everyone.....

... and if you see the EK one landing at about 12.00 then it's late, because it's due in at 11.30am!

I have heard that sometime in the new year that Emirates will be operating A.380s three times a day - the lunchtime flight, and both evening filghts (in 6pm, out 8.30pm; in 8.30pm out 10.15pm - all times approx).

As an aside ... regarding the QANTAS flight ... QF operate from T4, but which stands will the A.380 operate from in that terminal. I can't imagine them schlepping all those pax from T4 across to T3 to use the T3 stands?
