A380 service options

I do not understand this quote:
I do not get it. When and how is there supposed to be even one way to circle the globe aboard A380
On 24th of October this year, A380s shall first meet because Qantas shall start service between Sydney and Los Angeles, and Singapore already serves Sydney.
If and when Emirates starts London service (when do they get their third frame?), it shall be possible to fly between New York and Los Angeles, by the roundabout way of flying NY-Dubai-London-Singapore-Sydney-Los Angeles.
But no way to circle the globe.
Are there any official plans to cross New World by A380, either transatlantic to west coast or transpacific to east coast?

Flight makes a fool of itself yet again

Loved the part where Clark refers to the A380 shower plumbing as a "masterpiece of engineering". Not electrical engineering, then... Wonder what he'd say today since Emirates hasn't got an A380 to its name in the air.
