Weight of first class

How much should first class weigh?

When 747 was designed, Trippe asked for windows in nosecone with forward view. He got the answer that this would require leaving two and half passengers behind.

Trippe gave up on that.

But many flat sleeper seats of first and business class weigh a lot. Motors, privacy walls, etc. etc.

Shouldn´t some airline decide that they do want those forward windows now?

Also Emirates has showers in first class. What does a shower weigh?

If you could choose either a first class ticket with a shower OR a first class ticket with direct forward view - not the size of cockpit windscreen, just the size of ordinary cabin window, but forward - which would you prefer?

forward view

personally, i would love a forward view from the aircraft. however, then again, i would more prefer the weather radar / navigation systems to be there too, so the pilots could tell where they were going and what was coming up ahead of them.........

Did Trippe have a radar in the classic 747?
