Military plane seen at Stansted

Hi folks, Saw a large military plane (no markings) land at Stansted a couple of nights back, does anyone know why ?? just interested, it stayed on the ground for an hour or so then took off again, sounded great!!!!

An Aeroplane?????

C'mon, if you are spotters you should be able to identify it from either noise or silhouette..................

In fact I think you will find it was........

One of the Aurora fleet support aircraft, it carries a vast amount of tools, spares, engineers and weapons. They sneak in and out of civy airports late at night so that it attracts less attention....

It was a ________ collecting guys/gals/trained attack dolphins from __________ regiment/battalion/secret unit and taking them to ___________ to attack/assassinate/capture ________ .

The aircraft will be coming again on ___ at _____ hrs.

Looked like a wide bodied VC10 type of shape, same tail fin shape and drab green/grey in colour.

No such animal, I'm afraid. The nearest could be a C17, but that [apart from the "T" tail] looks nowt like a VC10.

It was a VC 10.


Occam's Razor solution based on little or no info.

Twas VC10 full of our chaps and chapesses from Germany, on ground for an hour then of to Brize.
