'Tis true, I've seen a NOTAM for it. I suspect that it will be the one currently sittaing at Farnborough.

Oh look, here it is ...

H2404/08 - AIR DISPLAY BY A380 ACFT. EVENT WI 3NM 5326N 00304W (NEW BRIGHTON, MERSEYSIDE). AUS 08-07-0472/AS2. SFC - 4000FT AMSL, 12 JUL 12:00 2008 UNTIL 12 JUL 13:00 2008.

So, there we have. An A380 stooging around Merseyside on Saturday 12th July between 1pm and 2pm local time.

A380 - wow!

Was up at New Brighton to see it's 10 minute display..the weather came good at the last moment and she put on a fantastic show.
Supposed to be off to RIAT tomorrow...fingers crossed the weather has improved down there!

Anyone get a pic of it at manchester and maybe have the XL 739 in the fore/back ground. Long shot but worth asking.

Wow - the one of it banking over New Brighton is awesome! Do you have a higher res version of that shot? I was stood pretty much underneath it then - you can see it from my perspective here...
