Antonov-124

Hi - I've just seen what I believe to be an Antonov-124 flying west to east along the LHR approach path. The aircraft carried on out east and I couldn't see if it was turning into LHR for a final approach or heading over to the continent. It was flying at about the 'normal' height for an approach to LHR.

The only reason I am asking is it is an unusual bird to see in the sky in SW London. Sounds very different to the usual commercial traffic.

Any confirmation/refutation of my suspicions very much appreciated.
