Nae Vapour trails today?

Hi, Not a bad day for some dot spotting today. But as there were NO vapour trails at all, the aircraft were a little hard to see.

Q. Are the absence of trails weather related. Temp & humidity?

Just a bit curious.

Its OK. Did a little searching other threads and come up with answers.

Possibly it may be temperture related but maybe the routing is further North or South due the jetstream or something.

well off your location but when looking skyward in MEL i have noticed a lot more high level vapour trails over the past week. Aircraft at FL30+ are leaving some clear long distance tracks.
