Numerous unidentified aircraft in loose formation over Biggin tonight 01DEC

At least four aircraft approached from the south and are now following each other over what looks like the Biggin hold tonight.
Any idea what? who?!
Its 8pm!

... edited to realise that its probably just a busy night and it was probably just my perspective!

Seems to fit then new way of beating the channel ports blockade
still Mr Mannering and the guard will soon round em up Jones will scare
the daylights out them with his Bayonet "they don't like it up em Mr Mannering"

At the time, I did wonder why a fellow of advanced years was running around in the street shouting "Don't Panic" as I was trying in vain to identify said formation.

Your explanation rings true!
