SIA A.380 and the Pan Am 747 pax

I noted the recent article on Flightglobal earlier this week about a chap who flew on the first Pan Am 747 revenue service and has now been offered a freebie on SIA's inaugural 380 flight. I thought it was quite amazing that not only had they somehow located him but that he was getting this fantastic opportunity.
So who's jealous
Now my memory isn't quite what it was, but later the same day it dawned on me that I was a pax onboard SIA's first 747-200 revenue service from Paya Lebar to LHR. (And I have a coin mounted in plastic to prove it).
What a trip that was. If memory serves me right we went to B'kok, Bombay, Bahrein, Athens and Frankfurt en route. It took forever with PR and Media at every transit stop. Mind you the Heidsieck kept being poured too

So Singapore Airlines, check that original manifest and see if you can find anyone else raring to make it another FIRST!
