Haiti twin engine Cessna Caravan !!

May be I'm Missing something, I thought Caravans have a single PT6 engine.
Well you never know in Haiti... Those street mechanics.

No They operate 208's and the referenced accident is a Caravan 208, the following link is in french (je parle francais) clearly indicates that the aircraft involved was indeed a 208.

Well, there is a two engined 208, albeit driving a single propeller.

Soloy Pathfinder 21 A twin engine stretch of the 208 developed by the Soloy Corporation. This aircraft features two PT6D-114A engines driving a single propeller, and a 70 inch stretch behind the wing

Yeah well I seriously doubt that the only
Soloy Pathfinder 21 prototype is flying people in Haiti ..

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) -- In stories Sept. 11 and Sept. 13, The Associated Press reported erroneously that two Cessna Caravan planes, which had made emergency landings in Haiti, were twin-engine aircraft. The Cessna Caravan is a single-engine plane.
