Emirates at Zaragoza?
An Emirates flight was observed approaching LEZG few days ago...
Could be Cargo (747 or 310)?
The person who saw this was not able to tell me the type of A/C, but he clearly saw EMIRATES... Could be a new route?
BTW Met was fine that day.
Thanks

I have a feeling that it might be served by several freighters from different airlines from time to time.
It is quite an isolated area, but might prove a quicker and cheaper airport to operate from than MAD, for example.
It is also a military base, so maybe some of the freighter flights are for the military???

Big long runway (US Space Shuttle diversion field)
Spanish F18 training base (live weapons trainin area nearby)
Relatively quite traffic wise
Large Spanish specialist truck manufacturer based nearby
The MK Airlines 747 that crashed in Canada a few years ago was either en-route to, or from Zaragoza
