After some deliberation I have decided to go to Columbus.
Was (and still am) concerned about the "security" aspects - it's an active USAF base and there is a rumour that GWB will visit
.
In the end decided it probably was a "once in a lifetime" thing, but I don't expect to be allowed to saunter among the planes OSH-style.

I've got an hotel booked in CMH but no flights yet. I think I'll probably go to Washington and drive.
I did think about Reno but I can't justify either 2 transatlantic flights in three weeks or the extra hotel nights to stay the 10 days between the 2.
