Unidentified at Edinburgh

Im a bit confused as to why the previous thread was closed as no one has yet identified the 707 that was at Edinburgh today (31st around 14.00).

Its not everyday that a classic aircraft flies into Edinburgh and i would really like to know the reason to why this aircraft flew in, if its coming back, who owns it and just to confirm that it was a 707 that was in. (any pics would be good too!)

It was definately a very loud four engine heavy smoker of an aircraft. It left a long trail of smoke and you could follow it for some distance. Taking off towards the East i only saw the last part of its late rotation from the rear galley. It caught everyones attention including the pax down the back.

It looked like either all white or two toned white/grey so i dont think it was John Travolta's didnt see any red at all.

Would appreciate any responses!
