Was out in Cyprus 8th oct to 22nd and must say a couple of night's had bad storms. Flights into Pfo were diverted to Lca one night. Never seen anything like it!

I noticed a few thunderstorms forecast over the last couple of days just gone.

Both of the main navigation aids are unservicable at Paphos, or were last time I was down there. This means that an aircraft needs to see the airfield from a descent height-i think 5000ft to continue the approach. So even a small amount of cloud means going to larnaca.... if theres thunderstorms about, theyve got no chance!
