Question HF jargon!

Hi, I am an avid HF listener and often track flights from leaving UK airspace on VHF and SBS-1. Once out of radio range on VHF I then listen to them make contact with 'Shannon' control on my 2 Icom 71E HF receivers!
One of the terms I do not understand and cannot find anywhere is "C P T L C" spoken normal and not phonetically! I may have those letters mixed up but I don't think so Any crew or tin pushers shed any light?

Regards, Steve

Superb Thanks very much for the answer and the link! That has answered everything for me! Sadly it looks like I'd better enjoy HF comms while I can as it may well soon be a thing of the past
