Notification of central London flypasts?
At lunch time today what sounded like an RAF flypast flew over west London, but I missed it.
Does anyone know of a way find out the date and time of these beforehand?

It's all very well saying NOTAMs!!!! with 4 explanation marks, but this question was asked by a PPRuNer in the Spectators Balcony (Spotters Corner) forum. Now I am guessing that the general public don't have access to NOTAMs!
Perhaps someone else could answer teleports question for him?

Not to stand acused of not making the effort, I promptly registered w. www.ais.org.uk.
That was the easy bit (and it assumes more than a 'spectator' status in aviation BTW).
Now I need some time or tutoring in how to work it out.

Missed it again, not having made a note about the Queen's Birthday.
BUT, spotted this:
http://www.gnn.gov.uk/Content/Detail...2&NewsAreaID=2
It's got timings and composition of formations etc.
So if anyone else is interested and it gets issued every time, then...

Sadly the MoD have obviously not spoken to Robert Pleming recently. According to their website, updated two days ago, the Falklands flypast WILL include a Vulcan!
Or do they have another one in reserve that they have been keeping quite about, perhaps.......
