Gatwick - baggage train into 146, 01/09/2006

Hi there, nothing serious, but just thought whether anybody here who was at Gatwick on the first day of the month knew anything about the baggage train that ended up giving a BA Connect 146 a bump? I just ask as our flight was delayed from Luton and changed to Gatwick (flying to the Isle of Man) due to this and would be interested to hear from anybody who heard anything about the incident! We ended up departing Gatwick about 2030.

Cheers, Jack.

T-fly 737 got eaten by the ambilift at Alicante a couple of days ago. Big chunk out of the engine cowl. Baggage loader was quite badly hurt.
Any news?

I heard it caused £250k worth of damage.
£249k to fix the baggage train, £1k for the 146.
