Does anybody know how the plans of getting the Fokker 100 back in production are going?

I can think of a few developing countries, where runways are a bit short and a bit narrow (and maybe not all that well maintained!), that would welcome them.

Rekkof was the company that was going to restart production of the Fokker 70/100.I dont think it will ever happen.
