A330 AC LHR

Hi all. May I ask for more information regarding the Air Canada A330 which my dad saw at work today @ LHR. It was about 330pm, and it was 2nd or 3rd in line, when it clearly cancelled it slot, and went over to a hard stand towards T5 and had many fire trucks, seeming to be inspecting the Number 1 engine. Then he had to leave (dad)

Sounds like quite a happening to have a number of BAA trucks and fire trucks around it, 2nd in line for take off?

Hoping for informative responses.

Dan.

The a/c went back to stand, and after a period the emergency was cancelled by the fire service. I don't know what ocurred after that.
