Does anyone know if viewing and photographing is possible in Singapore be it civil or military. If so can you recommend any suitable places to photograph from?

I was there last week and found a spot in an outdoors smoking area (not far from the Transit desk in T2) where you could see ops from the eastern runway - great for take offs in the afternoons. Trouble was, the lens fogged up the second I walked outside!
If you find the lens I lost, please return it to me!

You can photograph in and around Changi - no problem at all.
When I lived in Singers I didn't have any interest to visit any military airfields but it might be possible to ask Mindef if you can.
Most days driving down the PIE A4s and such would pass just over the road on their way to land - quite distracting but great to watch.
