RYANAIR BASE TRNG AT NEMA
RYR must be desperate to get Pilots on line, am sitting here watching the Arsenal (well have given up now), its 2100, nearly dark, low cloud base about 1000 ft, raining, windy pretty much straight across the runway and there is a RYR 738 in the circuit.
Even more so its seems hardly a stable approach cutting inside the Church to those that know Kegworth.
Am presuming its some sort of recency mission for someone, have to admit i'm surprised NEMA are letting it happen so late, the NIMBY's will be on the phone right now

So I supposed they all moved into houses near EMA? Sometimes it can be hard finding a lace where you can do meaty, high crosswind circuits and landings. In the past, before simulators reached the stage of development they are at now, it was common for BOAC ('oh why did they get rid of you?') to send a VC10 and a dozen pilots to Shannon, Toulouse or even Keflavik for nice 35 knot crosswind circuits. Bit of a pain awaiting your turn after 10 hours of banging around and crashing into the ground every 10 minutes.
