Question C17 Globemaster contrails

On various occassions and from different angles, the vapour trail from the Globemaster always gives the appearance that its an MD11 or similar item or that one of the outermost engines were fitted on a friday afternoon.
What accounts for this rather strange anomaly?

Thanks for great pic of subject GK430. Yip, The outermost contrail seems to be pointing upwards and outwards. Very distinctive I think. I see them often leaving and joining at DIKAS and this phenomena appears from both sides.
