MAG or TRU?

Hi all,

can someone tell me at what point you change to the TRU setting as in my 744 precision simulator CBT programme it states that at about 73 degrees north and 60 degrees south and the switch in NORM this process is automatic for the above reference. However some people ive spoken to reckon you use TRU for pond crossing.

Could someone clarify this for me thanks
