R/T and English
Hi mates, i need your opinion (please apologize if i am in the wrong place for the question).
Yesterday I was chatting with some friends about radio communications between pilots and ATSU. They could be hard sometimes for English speakers (maybe for the speed of speech)... and usually for non-English speakers.
so, in your opinion, how can the skills (both comprehension and speaking) be improved/learnt?
thanks!
A.

Radio
Hi all,
I always wanted to listen to the Radio but I don't know the specification,
Say I want to listen to Gatwick ATC, and I live in Brighton.
Which handheld radio can I buy?
Thanks

You need an airband scanner with receive only (people get annoyed if you start transmitting on the ATC frequency!) Do a search on the internet for "airband scanner" and you should find some suitable units.
