A very clear recording but only slightly more exciting than watching paint dry.

By the way, the DC-10 dumps fuel at 2,500 lbs per minute.

Well, I must say this recording was for me fascinating, and of course I accept that for those in the profession it's all in a day's work. For those of us stuck on the ground this was an insight into the procedures for a ..shall we say.. a non-routine arrival.
For those on dial-up, be aware it's a big file (20meg) and the clip has a running time of 19 minutes.
