LBA Diversions

There are a number of diversion from LBA tonight, including the FlYbe EXT flight diverting to DSA

Yes what a crazy place to divert to as well. Would have thought DSA would be much better nowadays for a diversion.

Noticed KL 1549 from AMS to LBA diverted to MAN this afternoon, even though it had Humberside as it's alternate.

Is it cloud or wind which is causing the problem?

These flights were all diverted due to fog,as the RVR for runway 14 was below Cat1 minimum,and the wind was too strong to use 32 to Cat 2 or 3,thats assuming they could anyway.Maybe Leeds will eventually get Cat 2 on 14!,as it is possible,but don't hold your breath.
