CRJ7 FLX thrust mode

Hi guys,

I'm a wreck, what the @#!& is that?
What is FLX temp and why must it be entered into FMC?

'FLEX'

Try this thread.
It (the flex or assumed temperature) goes into the FMC to set a lower power output of the engine thereby lowering the turbine temp and extending the life.
