Flight BA7731 BA Citi Exp 25/11/05

Hello all
I have an f/o interview with BACitiexpress coming up on the 25th of November and will have to fly up on the day from Southampton to Manchester. My flight number is BA7731. Anyone know if its the dash 8 or Emb 145 ?

Thanks in advance

Get a hire car. We will have pulled off the route and sold the aircraft by then.
Good luck though.

Take no notice of Crazy,

I think he's just trying to amaze us with his sarcastic wit.

Your flight will operate, no doubt.

Good luck.

sounds a bit much to expect you to fly the aircraft up yourself before you're even hired and not even tell you which one it is - how come MOL hasn't thought of that?

Well..... I was given the option to either fly myself up on a type not yet specified OR pay for a sim assessment like all the good airlines who like to charge would make us do !!
Well whats a guy to do !!

Thank god citiexpress does not rip off its potential f/crew like some of the others do !!
(ahhh a real company at last !!)

never been on a dash or had a citiExp interview !! Cant wait !!

It's normally a Dash-8 but due to GBRYW being out of service in ABZ (incident with a ground power unit!) it can either be a 145 on 146 depending on the crew situation. Out of all the Dash-8 sectors out of MAN the 7730/7731/7742/7743 and 7734/5/6/7 are
the easiest to cover.

We'll be lucky to see GBRYW before Christmas!

An despite all the bitching about the company in other posts, it's not all that bad! - good luck

The stuff posted in the Times isn't anything new and all speculative. There will be changes and I'm confident they'll be for the better and long overdue. There are alot of people that have been moved from one type to another and relocated time after time (myself included). It's been tough and my loyalty has been tested but I'll always try and remain optomistic about the future. Always take what you read here with a pinch of salt.

Whatever

Travelled as pax on the 7731 this morning. Embraer 145, cooked English breakfast on a 40 min. trip. Outstanding.

Usually it's a Dash-8. Same catering, noisier, bumpier and slightly longer flight, but all-round excellent service on this route.

Good luck with your interview.
