Some LARGE in the Sheffield overhead today

15:50hrs tracking from the east to overhead Sheffield City (EGSY) DME or NDB heading 280 before turning 210. Maintaining approx 2500ft.

I was closing down at the time and ensuring your rotors don't cut the tail off take priority over looking at passing traffic.

Looked like a C17 Globemaster.

Certainly had four engine pods and a T tail and was BIG and SLOW. Colour indist. due to low sun in the West.

Did anybody see the traffic in the Region (to solve an argument) ???

Thanks, in advance.

IL76 URUCO inbound to East Mids (from UKBB) as callsign UKS2783 was around that area then but would have been a bit higher than that
