Anyone know any other details about the Gatwick airport check in computer failure?

Local news says it is fixed now, and the cleaning lady who pulled the plug out with her vaccy has been fired.

Haven't read of any flight cancellations but know it happened 'cause my parents are in Gatwick Hilton instead of somewhere in Florida. This after boarding their aircraft but crew running out of duty time.

Not that I feel that particular bad about that since they're going for four months....and flying J class lucky sods...
