The A380

Hi folk,

From a look at the A380 flight deck, there seem to be no trim wheels at all! Anyone knows whether they've done away with them altogether?

Curious also to know what the two gray soap-like objects below the radio panel are...

Cheers,

Ramapriya

Can you post a link to the picture/s you've been studying?

Thanks,

I guess the trim is done by thumb-switches on the yoke?

There are a bunch of pictures here: http://www.dresden-spotter.de/a300lh.html if it helps,

but isn't the trim all automatic? In the A320/330/340, the trim wheels are adjacent to the throttle, and that's where I looked in the A380 too... but nothing there!

The flight deck pic is in my laptop, dunno how to send it along with this msg

Im pretty sure the two gray soap-like objects below the radio panel are mouse controllers.

Aussie Andy,

The first link you posted shows pics of the A300 aircraft as opposed to the A380

NZLeardriver,

Oh god, I can see it now. "Windows has encountered a fatal error, press any button to reboot your A380."
