BHX - LaRochelle?

Does anybody know if FlyBe will be flying this route AFTER the summer season? It doesnt look like they are over the winter but what about next summer?

Parents have just bought a house there and now the find that FlyBe stop the flights!

What kind of a/c do they use?

In theory they use an BAe146. This is very much a seasonal destination. I doubt if there would be sufficient demand in the Winter, though perhaps a once weekly? Whether they will operate the route next year will, I guess, very much depend on how well it does this Summer. Unfortunately, these type of routes are very fickle.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Any route-buffs out there got a suggestion for a better route - from Solihull to La Rochelle?

(Apart from driving, obviously)

There is every possibility that this route will return. The service to Perpignan returned this summer season for SOU so if the route proves to be popular then it is likely to return next summer as 'avman' has suggested.

No idea if it'll last the winter though. Flybe are reintroducing SZG/CMF and starting GVA and BRN this winter so it'll be interesting to see if capacity allows for some of the french regional routes to continue.
