which airfield?

HI Chaps,

Forgive me for being a thick northener but I flew into Gatwick this morning and landed on runway 08. On the approach we flew quite low over a smallish airfield with a 747 classic sitting on a taxiway but I couldnt see any other aircraft just a few hangers.

Can someone tell me what field this is. I know Farnbrough is north west of Gatwick but this field was more or less right under the 08 approach.

Thanks a lot

Rob

Many thanks Right Way Up I can now roll up the paper copy of this and beat my mate from Crawley around the head with it, he told me I was barking mad and it must have been Gatwick I saw as there were no other airfields around that would take a 747

Thanks again
