Ah the Devil is in the punctuation....I thought, given all the anti-journo feeling expressed here, that there was a higher being after all and that he/she read pprune................
anyhow best of luck to all those on board...

The Airbus jet, carrying almost 300 passengers, landed without problems at the airport, Israeli media said.

Earlier reports had suggested the pilot warned he was having trouble with landing gear.

The airplane was flown by a Turkish charter company.

Is that fine outstanding operator (NOT) Air Alfa still around or equally bad MNG? Do MNG fly SLF or just the regular type?

Tel Aviv Emerg

A state of emergency was declared at Israel's international airport outside Tel Aviv after nightfall Thursday for the landing of a plane with 294 passengers on board, the Magen David Adom rescue service said.

Channel 10 TV reported that the plane is an Airbus arriving from Turkey, and the pilot reported a problem with the nose wheel.

Ambulances and rescue teams raced to the scene in preparation for an emergency landing.

Israel Radio played recordings of the pilot of the plane talking to the control tower, receiving clearance for landing.

Any more informations about this ????

Cant read this one its in Hebrew or something.

Not trying to paint every airline in Turkey with the same brush but things seem to be getting out of hand.
Does not suprise me though, have seen first hand much worse than this!
Landing gear up and knowing only when the tower informs them.
Actually doing a gear up touch and go here in Medinah!
Taxiing into light poles etc.
These items are documented and in the news.
I am begining to wonder about the whole industry in Turkey!
