Boeing Airfields in Seattle
Apologies to those who responded to my previous enquiry, but I can't find the original post in the forums search facility.
I'm visiting the Everett Tour Centre (Paine Field) next week, but would like to know how Boeing use their 3 airfields re; flying activity. I believe Renton and Paine Field are manufacturing facilities, but Boeing Field (King County) airfield is where the actual test flying takes place.
Can anyone confirm this please ? I really want to know where most of the activity, and therefore interest, will be.
Thanks in anticipation.

EDIT: It is in the sticky at the top, dated 21/3/05

PAE: Assembly and flight testing for 747, 767, 777.
RNT: Assembly for 737, 757.
BFI: Flight testing 737, 757, flight development for all models (widebodies rare).
MWH (Moses Lake): Very limited flight testing all models.
In terms of 'action' BFI will be the most busy, although that's a relative term - maybe 3 or 4 active on any given day.
