Weather Conditions

Flew from KUL to LHR on a dayflight early in February and from leaving KUL until approaching the German border their was hardly a cloud in the sky and the visibility was excellent.
I wondered how often weather conditions like that are experienced??

It can happen a lot in the winter time especially. Large land masses tend to have areas of high pressure sat over them, where the air is typically very dry (hence no clouds), and generally free of pollutants and dust, which means excellent visibility.
