Types of ERJ-145

Just a quick question on the Embraer ERJ-145. I’ve managed to garner that the ER suffix stands for Extended Range, LR stands for Long Range and XR stands for Extra Long Range.

However, I notice that British Airways have EP and EU versions. Now, I’m guessing that EP might mean Extended Performance (?) but what the heck is this EU version?
